Mimansha herbals has established a state-of-the art Herbal Research and Development
Centre dedicated for development of Ayurvedic proprietary medicines, nutraceuticals/ food
supplements and a range of cosmetics products. The Herbal R&D centre comprises of the
following sections:
Process & Analytical Department
R&D team has dedicated scientists working in the areas of Process, Analytical and Discovery
Research. R & D center conforms to international standards and has advanced equipment for
both basic and applied research. They specialize in developing precise and specific analytical
methods both for raw materials and finished products.
Formulation and Development
This department section is fully equipped with modern instruments necessary for the
development of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. The department is made up of a team of
highly trained scientists specialized in designing and development of Ayurvedic proprietary
medicines, food supplements/ nutraceuticals and cosmetic products. All the development
activities are carried out as per standard guidelines and under GMP conditions.The team ensures
that the finished products pass through all the tests required to maintain quality of the products.
The team also ensures that the finished products are stable throughout their shelf life. Packaging
material selection is given utmost attention so that products can retain efficacy throughout their
shelf life.
Contract Research Activities
R&D team is capable of taking on contract research. The following contract research activities
can be carried out :
- Development of various modern dosage forms of Ayurvedic proprietary medicines, food
supplements/ nutraceuticals and personal care products.
- Stability testing on various Ayurvedic proprietary medicines.
- Testing of herbal raw materials and finished products using High Performance Liquid
Chromatography (HPLC), High Performance Thin Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) and UV
spectroscopy. Standardization of herbal products.
- Microbial Testing of herbal raw materials, excipients, herbal and pharmaceutical products.
